Having taken over the management of The Headley in August Sara, Glenn and their team are working to make The Headley part of the community and the Brentwood local for good food and drink. Serving a great British pub menu and along with wines and beers to match The Headley is the perfect place for a quick lunch, family gathering, romantic meal for two or a catch up with friends on a Saturday night as well as everything in between.
Our menu has a wide choice with dishes ranging from classic prawn cocktail, shredded duck salad and beer battered fish and chips to crispy duck faggots, pan fried calves liver and sausage and mash. We work closely with our suppliers, Wesley our butcher, David our greengrocer and Robert who provides our market fish to make sure all our produce is as fresh, as local and as seasonal as possible.
In keeping with the history of The Headley being a carvery we pride ourselves on offering great Sunday roasts of the best British beef, slow roast pork and whole chickens with all the trimmings and lashings of gravy.
Both our menu and Sunday menu can be seen on our menu page along with our wine list that has a great mix of old & new world wines with flavours that suit all tastes. They have been chosen with help from Martin at Bibendum so that each wine complements a different dish on the menu.
